REPORTS TO: General Manager

Perform sales and customer service, accounting functions as related to guest registration, and revenue reporting/recording.

•Performs the functions of the front desk including: check ins, check-outs, reservations, answers phone, provide wake-up calls, etc.
•Respond to guest needs, special requests and complaints and alert the appropriate manager as needed
•Provides security for guests by never releasing names or room numbers.
•Posts all charges to guest accounts.
•Verifies credit cards, direct billing, and cash deposits are accurate and balance.
•Post charges to the guest accounts that have not been posted or were incurred on the night audit shift.
•Verifies all account postings and balances.
•Tracks room revenues, occupancy percentages, and other front office statistics.
•Prepares a summary of cash, check, and credit card activities.
•Summarizes results of operations for management
•Follow the End of Day / Night Audit Checklist
•Run end of day reports in property management software (PMS).
•Must have complete knowledge of emergency procedures.
•Balance the day’s charges, making corrections as necessary.
•Understand principles of auditing, balancing, and closing out accounts.
•Knows how to operate PMS, fax machines, and other front office equipment's.
•Performs tasks such as washing, drying and folding laundry and other cleaning tasks such as vacuuming front office, sweeping and mopping lobby, etc.
•Prepare breakfast in the morning and keep well stocked.

Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
Must speak, read. Write, and understand the primary language used in the workplace. Must be able to speak and understand the primary language used by the guests who visits the hotel.
Experience: Minimum one year of hotel front desk supervisory experience, experience handling cash, accounting procedures, and general administrative tasks. Must have computer skills.
