Birthday Party at Arkansas State Veterans Home
(Little Rock) Mabel Brown, widow of former ADVA director Grady Brown, held 
her monthly birthday party for the residents of the Arkansas State Veterans Home
Wednesday, March 5. Mabel has been conducting the birthday celebrations since the early 1980’s. Volunteers Dianne Fitton and Mary Graham, President of the American Legion Auxiliary, helped set-up and serve cake, ice cream and refreshments to the gentlemen. The party also included several rounds of bingo which the residents had been eagerly looking forward to.
The VFW Auxiliary helps with funding the parties.
