Kara Maack joins ADVA as Quality Assurance Administrator

Kara Maack, a longtime employee with the State of Arkansas, has joined The Arkansas Department of Veterans Affairs (ADVA) as the new Quality Assurance Administrator effective February 10, 2025.

Maack has served in various positions for the State of Arkansas, including the Inspector General’s Office, the Department of Human Services, and most recently as program manager for the Department of Agriculture.

“I’m happy to be here, eager to learn more, and I want to do my part to assist those who are helping veterans.”

Maack is a graduate of Mills High School in Little Rock. She attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and is professionally certified in Human Resources.

She has been married to John Maack for 23 years. They have one 19-year-old son who is attending Arkansas State University at Beebe.
